Susan L. Eggebrecht, O.D.
Dr. Susan Eggebrecht received her Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Indiana University. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from Indiana School of Optometry in 1989. As part of her training she completed an externship at the Atlanta Omni Eye Center, the Indianapolis Eye Center and the Fort Wayne Veterans Hospital. She has been certified in the Treatment and Management of Ocular Disease since 1989.
Dr. Eggebrecht is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Indiana Optometric Association. She has participated in a medical eye mission in St Vincent. She has been in private practice in Ft. Wayne since she graduated, and started Vision Care Associates in 1999.
Dr. Eggebrecht is a native of Ft. Wayne and is happily married to her husband Kirk, and they have 5 children that keep them very busy! Besides spending time with her family, she enjoys running in her free time.
Eric P. Purdy, M.D.
Eric P. Purdy, M.D. graduated from the University of Illinois with a Bachelor of Science degree. He earned his Medical Degree from the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, and completed two residencies, one in Internal Medicine at Mayo Clinic and the other one in Ophthalmology at the University of Florida. He also completed a fellowship in Orbital & Oculoplastic surgery at Wright State University School of Medicine, in Dayton. Dr. Purdy specializes in oculoplastic surgery, eye muscle surgery, cataract surgery and diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases. Oculoplastic surgery includes the surgical treatment of droopy eyelids, eyelid deformities and tumors, eyelid injuries, diseases and tumors of the orbit (eye socket area), and tear duct problems. He is Board Certified in Ophthalmology and Internal Medicine, is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and has authored many medical journal articles and textbook chapters.
Zach Roth, O.D.
Dr. Zachary Roth earned his Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Indiana University in 2008 and earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from Indiana University School of Optometry in 2012. As part of his training he completed externships at the Fort Wayne Veterans Hospital, the Indianapolis Eye Center and the Montrose/Castle Point Veterans Hospitals in New York (Hudson Valley VA HCS). Following his externships, he returned to the Fort Wayne Veterans Hospital to complete an optometric residency in Ocular Disease/Primary Care in 2013. During his residency, Dr. Roth was involved in medical mission trips in Honduras and the island of St. Vincent, where he provided comprehensive eyecare to hundreds of people in need. Dr. Roth is a native of Roanoke and enjoys spending time outdoors and at the lake.
